Who we are

Hello and welcome to Cutprice Car Rentals. We are a family owned and operated business with the same original owner who has been servicing the Gold Coast and Brisbane with budget priced affordable car rentals for 32 years.

The entry into car rental happened when the owner first registered a business name in April 1986, 37 years ago, starting with a bunch of mopeds and a few cars to rent in Surfers Paradise. The business grew steadily over the years and in 2009 Cutprice car rentals decided to move its main operation closer to the Gold Coast Airport setting up at directly opposite the Gold Coast Airport. We then opened a depot near the Brisbane airport to service our clients flying into Brisbane. Now servicing both Gold Coast and Brisbane Airports the business now has over 450 vehicles and staff level of 35 people. We have our own service department with three fully qualified technicians to service and maintain our fleet of vehicles. We pride ourselves on personalized friendly customer service and a wide variety of budget priced vehicles to choose from.

Where we are

Cutprice Car Rentals is strategically located directly opposite the Gold Coast Airport and a second location a short shuttle ride from the Brisbane Airport. We offer rentals for pickup and return 24/7.

When you arrive at the Gold Coast Airport you can either take a short walk across the carpark to our office or give us a call and we can collect you from the shuttle bus meeting point at the north end of the terminal.

When you arrive at Brisbane Airport simply call our friendly staff to arrange a shuttle bus to pick you up from the shuttle bus collection point at either terminal.
